Halloween Cone Coins
Purpose: A packaging refresh for Cone Coins, designed to bring more brand personality to a beloved kids' campaign

I led the redesign of our Cone Coins packaging—part of a playful campaign where kids could trade coins in for a scoop of ice cream. After several rounds of sketches, I aligned on the art direction with our Creative Director, refining the visual tone and approach. I collaborated closely with our Senior Copywriter to bring the messaging to life and, with guidance from the Art Director, delivered a print-ready piece of branded merchandise. The refreshed look helped drive a lift in sales during the campaign’s run.

Hot Toddy Campaign
Purpose: Relaunch of a limited-time flavor in collaboration with Uncle Nearest

This flavor is inspired by the comforting warmth of a classic hot toddy: cozy, soothing, with a spiced kick. It has the bright, throat-coating quality of a really good herbal tea. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to let the ingredients lead the design. Taking inspiration from the star ingredient, I experimented with honey as type—literally. I brought in a bottle, crafted a series of letters by hand, and collaborated with our photographer to capture high-quality shots. I then presented the concept to the larger marketing team as a bold, tactile direction for the campaign.

b. social media

Strawberry Jam Campaign
Purpose: Design a social media post to build excitement for our annual Strawberry Jam event

Strawberry Jam in Columbus is a true community gem. First hosted by Jeni’s in 2017, it celebrates Ohio’s strawberry season and marks the unofficial start of summer. It’s a weekend-long tradition anchored by the return of our beloved Strawberry Buttermilk flavor and supported by longtime local partners, especially Land-Grant Brewing, who release a limited-edition, fruit-inspired beer just for the occasion.

I wanted to reflect the event’s deep sense of place and tradition with a collage-style design, reminiscent of a scrapbook but with a vibrant, modern twist. I curated a set of event snapshots and organized them into a seamless Instagram carousel, carefully guiding the viewer through the energy and joy of the weekend. While the scrapbook trend was definitely having a moment, it felt like a natural, strategic fit for this campaign. It was a way to celebrate history, community, and summer all at once.

c. campaign posters and marketing assets

Road Trip Snacks
2023 Summer Campaign

Purpose: Design a range of deliverables including postcards, posters, a bumper sticker, social media assets, and internal training materials for scoop shop teams.

Our campaigns are always a testament to what a cross-functional team can accomplish, but this one stands out because I was at the creative helm for much of it. After aligning on the strategy and deliverables with the broader team, I worked closely with the Creative Director and Art Director to define the visual core of the campaign.

The concept was built around the magic of a great American road trip—blurry photos from the passenger seat, a bounty of gas station snacks, and plenty of souvenirs. I collaborated with the Art Director on a series of posters featuring whimsical, ice cream-centered landscapes, which we adapted into collectible postcards. I led the postcard design process, hand-illustrating a unique design on the back of each one, and also designed the campaign’s bumper sticker, presenting a range of phrases and layouts for the team to choose from.

Jeni’s x Lonely Ghost
2023 Flavor Collaboration

Purpose: Design a poster to commemorate the launch of Double Dough, a flavor collaboration with apparel brand Lonely Ghost.

Double Dough has since become one of Jeni’s signature flavors, but it started as a limited-time collab with the cult-favorite streetwear brand Lonely Ghost. I led the design of the inaugural launch poster, aiming to visually capture the flavor’s nostalgic, playful energy—something that could resonate with both Gen Z and longtime Jeni’s fans.

The final piece channels that sensibility through bold, screen-printed textures, punchy type, and a retro-styled image that that captures the carefree spirit of summer the way we remembered it. I aligned on the direction with both the Lonely Ghost and Jeni’s creative teams, going through several iterations to strike the right balance between their irreverent tone and our brand’s warmth and optimism.

d. shops and floorset design

Five Points Grand Opening
Athens, GA

Purpose: To commemorate the grand opening of our scoop shop in Athens with a range of limited-edition freebies and merchandise for our fans.

I designed the graphic featured on the commemorative t-shirt and sticker, drawing inspiration from the neighborhood’s collegiate spirit. I created mockups of each piece and presented them to the broader team, leading the final direction and preparing the selected items for print.

Gallery Walls

As part of my role at Jeni’s, I designed custom gallery walls for each new scoop shop we opened. Each layout was one-of-a-kind, with only a few required prints—the rest was up to me to curate and arrange. I developed layouts with detailed measurements and visual balance in mind, ensuring each wall felt cohesive and site-specific. I then partnered with our Buyer to frame, order, and deliver the final selections in time for opening day.
